Presentation of the
Formula E battery vision
The government - Minister Palkovics - and the FIA - Jean Todt - and
- Oláh Gyárfás - the president of the Hungarian Motorsport Association
- are negotiating that the EPRIX competition will be held in Budapest,Hungary in the future.
At the suggestion of Mr. Gyárfás Oláh, we contacted the Formula-E teams
to discuss how university students could actively participate in
the development of racing car batteries, and how we could integrate
the Formula-E series into the Battery Base Battery Championship.
The main purpose of Battery Base is:
- find the battery of the future,
- improve existing ones,
- redesign used ones.
We are looking for the next generation of professionals to research,
design and test these.
As part of our initiative, we would like to take part in a
Formula E race, which we would hold
and organize in downtown Budapest.
One of the goals of the Battery Base Foundation is to provide young engineering candidates
- university teams - to incorporate - design the battery of the future into the Formula E race cars.
(Details in the competition notice)
Teams from technical universities and colleges from the European Union
will be able to qualify for the competition.
"The EU has identified strategic elements for Europeans in the automotive industry.
In order for the EU to remain globally competitive in key battery technologies,
it must encourage greater risk-taking and accelerate investment in research and innovation,
and involve students in technical and practice-oriented training."
